First self-paced course and interactive tool designed

synergies4VET has released its first self-paced e-learning course on sustainability in the hospitality sector, alongside an interactive Food Waste Flow Balance practice tool. Apprentices learn to recognise, record and reduce food waste, explore climate-friendly diets, and calculate carbon footprints—building on insights from LIFE FOSTER and LIFE Climate Smart Chefs. The hands-on tool lets learners log waste data, view automatic charts, and export a PDF report. Available in German, English and Greek, ready for integration into Moodle.
